	Pastry & Bakery Production
	Pastry & BakeryAssistant Fulltime or Parttime Centini Restaurant is an award-winning busy downtown restaurant with a refined approach to Italian cuisine. The restaurant menu features local artisanal, organic and specially imported products. The pastry department is a cornerstone of the restaurant and produces a wide variety of irresistible breads and baked goods, gelatos, sorbets, specialty Italian products, biscotti as well as plated desserts that reflect the seasons. We are currently rounding out our team and require production staff for our busy pastry & bakery department. Job Description Seeking career-oriented, serious experienced, knowledgeable, excellence-oriented individual with a passion for food and "wow" to join our team. Please note this is a production position; We are not looking for someone to redo our menu. Must be able to handle the pressure of a high production kitchen. Responsible for in-house baking of breads, grissini and flatbreads as well as daily preparation of plated menu desserts for a la carte lunch and dinner menus as well as quantities of special items for group functions. Must be able to * operate effectively as part of a team, * function effectively in a busy environment, * communicate clearly, * be relied upon and handle responsibility * organize time and ensure smooth service operations and quality service. Requirements: * pastry experience in a hotel, bakery or fine dining restaurant environment. * Advanced pastry product knowledge. * Culinary students in pastry will be considered * Interest in and familiarity with local or unique ingredients. The qualified candidate must be able work quickly, cleanly, efficiently, and with respect for quality ingredients and careful attention to preparation. Cleanliness, organization, attention to detail and deadlines as well as the ability to work well in a very busy team situation are crucial to this position. Applicants must possess a strong dedication toward learning and continuous improvement. 	Immediate Opening Sous Chef / Chef de Cuisine Centini Restaurant & Lounge is an award-winning busy downtown restaurant with a refined approach to Italian cuisine. The restaurant menu features local artisanal, organic and specially imported products. We are currently rounding out our team and require an experienced sous chef / chef de cuisine to join our kitchen team. This is a full-time positions with benefits. Applicants must possess a strong dedication to learning and the motivation to progress in a fine dining environment. Cleanliness, organization and the ability to work well in a team environment are crucial to this position. Qualified candidates must be motivated self starters with excellent communication, problem resolution, and organizational skills. Must be able to work cleanly, efficiently, and with respect for quality ingredients and careful attention to preparation. Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and ensure smooth service operations and quality service. Requirements: 1-2 year of fine dining culinary experience. Advanced product knowledge. Interest in and familiarity with local ingredients and Italian cuisine. Culinary degree preferred.
